Job Summary
- Lead HR and Governance as a strategic business function delivering valuable insights, controls, and shared service that will ultimately reduce risk, increase employee satisfaction and support the organization achieving its strategic priorities
- Oversee core HR functions, including policy administration, ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws, resolving HR issues, HR data management, reporting metrics and managing employee relations, and collaborating with Finance on benefits selection and administration
- Develop and lead recruiting processes to ensure hiring the best in class candidates; carefully designing job descriptions, using an applicant tracking system to help manage the workflow of the interview process, and carefully interviewing applicants to select and recommend the strongest candidates, and thoughtfully onboarding new teammates
- Assess, identify, and develop plans for people safety, wellbeing, support and performance across every business unit, including owned national event's contractor/volunteer labor
