Head Coach Women's Softball

Job Summary

Management, organization and supervision of Women's Softball program, and student athletes and staff participating.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Schedule, conduct and supervise team practice sessions.
• Provide individual and team instruction, skill development and techniques, conditioning and preparation for softball team and members.
• Provide supervision of the softball team to, from and at home and away games.
• Monitor team members' academic progress and performance and make referral to appropriate College office and services to enhance student's academic success.
• Assist with athlete eligibility certification and completion of forms and medical examinations for practice and team eligibility.
• Provide media information for the promotion, publicity and recognition for the softball team, including interviews, player profiles, team statistics and publications.
• Report any incidents of player injury, misconduct, and disruptive behavior and travel/transportation accidents.
• Develop and coordinate special project fund raising activities for the women's softball team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
