Sports Internship in Operations

Job Summary

A candidate for this position will be chosen to assist the operations department. The ideal candidate must work efficiently under pressure, balance multiple responsibilities, and possess a strong work ethic. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Maintenance of Work Plan & Status Report

- Inventory of the storage units and warehouse

- Liaise with trailer vendor for deliveries of all office trailers & storage containers

- Liaise with furniture vendor on ordering office furniture for tournament needs

- Responsible for setting up of all tournament related office trailers and work spaces

- Operations support for sponsorship activation leading up to and during tournament week including on-site expo spaces and hospitality elements

- Assist with managing radio list & ordering tournament radios

- Manage golf cart fleet distribution and work with Volunteer Cart Chairman on operational layout of golf cart lots on-site

- Secure & manage onsite ATM vendor

- Oversee practice range golf ball orders through various vendors

- Manage, order & maintain caddie bibs & caddie bib names

- Responsible for inventory and maintenance of on-site signage

- Responsible for taking and cataloging operational photos leading up to and throughout the tournament

- Assist in creating the layout for the tournament credential boards with the ticketing department

- Responsible for the physical set-up and tear down of various tournament events (i.e. moving tables, setting up displays/signage, and moving sponsor products)

Assist with daily tournament activities as assigned (e.g., HQ admin, answering phones, and miscellaneous tasks)
