Job Summary
The Sports Advisory Group, one of the nation's leading professional sports M&A advisory firms, is seeking a Senior Associate. In this full-time position, the Senior Associate will source and be involved in leading ownership groups and buyers through the sale, investment and acquisition of professional sports teams, primarily within baseball, hockey, and other sports – at both the Minor and Major League level.
Required Qualifications
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (English).
· Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office.
· Ability to work both independently, and as a key-member of a team.
· Ability to manage multiple projects / assignments at once.
· Strong creative and organizational skills.
· Minimum bachelor’s / university degree, or the equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
· Must be a legal US resident.
Preferred Qualifications
· An active rolodex within Minor and / or Major league team ownership.
· A strong working knowledge of all aspects of sports leagues and levels (professional and amateur), sports operations, marketing, and industry trends.
· Experience in reviewing and analyzing financial reports / statements, contractual agreements, etc.
· A strong sales drive and passion to succeed.
· Prior M&A and finance experience.
Location
Relocation is not required: this is a home office-based position (within the United States). Some travel is necessary.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based compensation program with exceptional earnings potential.
