Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle daily communication and media-services responsibilities for the baseball program, working directly with coaches and student-athletes to produce positive coverage
• Serve as the secondary contact for the football program, reporting directly to the primary football contact
• Work with the communication services director and other full-time and student staff in year-round service of a 21-sport athletics department and its information and media constituencies
• Work with local, regional and national media to provide information services
• Use creative, innovative approach to generate positive promotion of sport programs
• Work with coaching staffs and department promo team to create publicity plans to reach various audiences through social media and website
• Utilize advanced photo editing skills for graphical use on website, social media and in publications
• Coordinate with video department to schedule and produce multimedia materials
• Maintain archival and records systems
• Write and edit daily, weekly and annual releases, feature stories and publications
