Graduate Assistant - Asst. Coach Women's Volleyball

Job Summary

Coaching Duties

• Carry out coaching plan in daily practice
• Meet and plan practices with head coach
• Work individually with student athletes on skill development
• Plan position specific drills and skills
• Demonstration and explanation of skills
• Meet with student athletes regarding academic and social issues

Travel Arrangements/Home Arrangements

• Organize team travel including airlines reservations, bus transportation, transportation to and from airport, meal arrangements, study tables, hotel reservations, directions to facilities, resta urants, etc.
• Reconcile expenditures after road trips including receipts, expense vouchers, etc.
• Coordinate practice times for road and home matches
• Check with student athletes and secure academic necessities for all trips (laptops, test information, etc.)
• Organize pre- and post-game meals as needed for fall matches
• Greet opponents when they arrive for practices
• Coordinate men's club team to work matches
• Assist with any assignments otherwise requested by Head Coach

Compliance

• Coordinate with compliance all paperwork for team travel
• Complete compliance paperwork for all countable hours
• Complete compliance paperwork for unofficial/official recruit visits(tickets)

Scouting/Film

• Coordinate managers for video and digital video recording
• Coordinate tape exchange or tape download for Northeast Conference purposes Assist in sending/receiving scouting tapes to non-conference schools

NCAA Rules

• Thoroughly know the NCAA rules
