Athlete Consultant (Recruiting Coordinator)

Job Summary

Right On Track, LLC is looking to hire and train Athlete Consultants (Recruiting Coordinators) in the Chicagoland Area for the following sports: Baseball, Cross-Country, Golf, Lacrosse, Soccer, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Tennis, Track & Field, and Volleyball. 

A Right On Track Athlete Consultant (Recruiting Coordinator) personally coordinates the recruitment of elite student-athletes to college programs all across the country. By utilizing innovative recruiting methods and customized game plans tailored to each family, you become an advocate for student-athletes by providing structure to their recruiting process. An Athlete Consultant (Recruiting Coordinator) is well-educated on the recruiting process and NCAA rules and regulations. An Athlete Consultant (Recruiting Coordinator) must have passion for working with student-athletes and be devoted to each family throughout the entirety of the recruiting process.

Right On Track provides personal recruiting coordination for high school student-athletes in the Chicagoland Area aiming to compete at the college level. By educating families and adding structure to an athlete’s recruiting process, Right On Track is able to better position them to reach their collegiate goals and optimize their scholarship opportunities. Taking a proactive rather than reactive approach to communicating with college coaches increases choice and efficiency, saving time and money for the family while creating a more enjoyable experience for the student-athlete.  Responsibilities:

• Scout and evaluate student-athletes in person
• Attend local high school and club events weekly
• Educate and navigate families through the recruiting process
• Help student-athletes optimize collegiate options through athletic scholarships, competition, and choice
• Consult in-home with family to determine if the student-athlete has the necessary combination of academics, ability, character, and desire to compete at the collegiate level
• Develop working relationships with college coaches at every division
• Match student-athletes with collegiate programs and college coaches
• Prepare student-athletes for college visits and college coach meetings
• Provide expertise in the recruiting process to put student-athletes in the best position to attain their goals
• Keep families informed of the most relevant NCAA rules and recruiting news related to their respective sport 

Qualifications:

• Former college athlete, college coach, high school/club coach, or trainers preferred
• Sales experience and/or entrepreneurial background preferred
• Ability to interview student-athletes and families in person
• Desire for guiding student-athletes through the recruiting process
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Highly motivated with a passion for success
• Social media and tech savvy
• Experience with Google Docs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings and weekends)
• Bachelor’s Degree
