Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY: 

This position serves the NHL Team Marketing division by providing assistance for Social Media, web, traditional marketing, email marketing, and business intelligence.

The goal for this position is to elevate NHL Team’ ability to execute the numerous mediums that we work with on a daily and game-to-game basis.   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist the Marketing and Digital department in all their essential functions, providing support in the following areas:
Social Media 
Website
Media planning
Copywriting
Project Management
Corporate sponsorship integration

 

• Conduct independent research on specific business topics that arise over the course of the fiscal cycle 
• Stay up-to-date on digital industry trends and suggest improvements where possible 
• Report and communicate project status to members of the Marketing team 
• Design and create social media templates, graphics, etc
• Maintain professional working relationship with Stars staff 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics or data management
• 1-2 years of business intelligence experience within the sports industry
• Expertise and/or working knowledge of: 

Adobe Creative Suite
Microsoft Office Products
PowerPoint
Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram)
