Internship - Operations

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to operations team (directors, master control, audio, studio) to help facilitate execution of daily content and programming 
• Understand of basic studio camera use
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs
• Assist operations employees during live and taped productions as needed
• Run teleprompter and help with other areas of technical operations such as studio camera as assigned
• Works with multiple departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials
• Adheres to Network policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Be in a college degree program studying in video or media production
• Familiarity with non-linear editing systems, specifically Avid Media Composer
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary
• Ability to work quickly and accurately
• Must be willing to work 12-16 hours a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be for college credit
