Job Summary

Job Summary: The Foundation Development Manager will oversee fundraising for our football Team Foundation and relations with all existing and potential donors. The position will focus on prospecting, donor stewardship, event fundraising, and management of the team’s donor software systems. In collaboration with other Foundation staff, this individual will help shape the philanthropic engagement of the organization and Team Foundation.

Job Responsbilities:  

  • Seeking new funding sources
  • Maintaining relationships with past and existing donors
  • Responsibility for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of major individual and corporate donors
  • Cultivating all options for growing Foundation donors
  • Creating an analytical system for maximizing the value of contacts
  • Managing all aspects of the Foundation’s software tools including donation platforms, CRM tools, and digital giving sites
  • Assisting with the development of Board of Director initiatives to improve fundraising
  • Identifying and implementing new ways to engage fans within the Foundation’s mission as a part of game days and other special events
  • Integrating Foundation objectives as part of this larger community and philanthropic philosophy within the organization

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of a four year degree
  • Experience in the areas of annual giving, capital campaigns, foundation/corporation solicitations or deferred giving
  • Fundraising experience in a non-profit setting with particular emphasis on donor stewardship and event fundraising
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
