Assistant Director, Aquatics & Safety Programs

Job Summary

The position entails the task of designing, directing, managing of the aquatics programs and complex.

Duties

• Give tactical and operational leadership of Aquatics program
• Take charge in the effective managing and overseeing of program offerings
• Planning of semester and annual program mix/slate
• Assists to ensure that the facility spaces are maintained
• Annual budget creation to submit for review and approval
• Supervising of the staff
• Review and approval development
• Marketing strategies development
• Other related tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Master's degree in recreation, higher education, exercise science , public health required
• 3 years of experience in staff supervision
• Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification
