Job Summary

The Community Relations Director is responsible for developing and managing programs that contribute to the overall awareness of Charities and our community involvement.

This position is currently an at will, Exempt, full time position and will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing and Community Relations.

The CR Director will oversee the daily functions of the department; including but not limited to the organizations charitable giving efforts, outreach events, and increasing the outreach opportunities to support in the community while maintaining and building relationships with nonprofits. 

Responsibilities

• Create and implement annual strategic plan for community relations, charitable giving, and volunteer engagement initiatives 
• Serve as primary liaison between nonprofits and the Organization; communicating the Charities mission and charitable giving message
• Manage the annual grant cycle, managing ACF software and data reporting
• Organize monthly meetings for the Community Relations and Charitable Giving Committee
• Develop programs and initiatives building the brand of Charities throughout the area
• Manage Community Relations Events
• Create and oversee content for publications
• Create content for community outreach for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Preferred Experience 

• 7+ years working with nonprofits with focus on charitable giving and events
• Staff supervision and management
