Job Summary

 Summary
The MLB Team are looking for a photography intern to assist the team photographer and the marking department.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Assistance with Photography of all aspects of this baseball team including but not limited to in game/stadium action, Fans, community events, photoshoots, special events and Promotions
• Management and lead of the archiving and tagging of current and historical images
• Execution of internal and external photo requests
• Assistance with the tracking of all photo projects, jobs and requests
• Content creation in collaboration with the Creative Services team
• Assistance with the tracking of all photo projects, jobs and requests

 
Qualifications & Requirements 

• Interest in photography and a desire to work towards a job in sports photography or media
• Familiarity with a camera and a Proficiency in photography techniques
• Flexible schedule, ability to work evenings and weekends
• Adobe bridge, photoshop and Lightroom experience
• Creative and artistic mindset
• Ability to problem solve and think on their feet
• Organizational and Communication skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Baseball knowledge is a plus

 
Work Environment:

• Position will work in an office and stadium environment. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment
• Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment
• Position will require lifting and transport of heavy camera equipment (10-15lbs)
• Position may require standing for long periods of time, walking up and down stairs in a stadium environment
