Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the safety and security of Arena guests, employees and assets. The Security Supervisor is responsible for the performance and conduct of all security guards assigned to shift. This position reports to the Security Manager. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:·   

•  Provide all guests a positive first impression by offering World Class Service
• Monitor the performance, conduct and attendance of security guards assigned to shift.
• Responsible for the quality of the performance, conduct and effectiveness of the entire security team as a cohesive unit.
• Responsible for the professional appearance of the security team assigned to shift.
• Responsible for the quality and accuracy of all event/shift logs and incident reports generated during shift.
• Responsible for the security and proper control of the lost and found items turned into the Security Department.
• Interact with Arena guests, vendors and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
• Responsible for completing all tasks, responsibilities and deadlines set by the Security Manager and Security Director
• Adhere to all Security Department Standard Operating Procedures and policies.·
• Take an active participatory role in creating and conducting on-going, in-service training for all security team members.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:·   

•  High School Diploma and some college preferred
•  Knowledge of the Security Chain of Command·
•  Security License, Law Enforcement experience or Military background preferred
• Excellent Customer Service skills·         
• Knowledge and skill in radio communication·         
• Strong Leadership skills with ability to take and execute directions·         Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations·         
• Excellent verbal communication skills with strong written and oral communication skills·         
• Ability to exercise sound judgment to diffuse volatile situations·
