Job Summary


Digital Marketing Manager, University Athletics Department

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage email marketing to generate revenue, effectively communicate pertinent information about Athletics and improve customer retention/engagement
  • Develop, manage and execute the digital marketing programs, promotions and campaigns for all channels including online advertising, website management, mobile, email and other initiatives
  • Collaborate with various units to develop emails that achieve positive results including open/click-through rates, conversions and database growth
  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns to ensure optimization of all digital programs; with a focus on driving awareness, lead generation, ticket sales and fan engagement
  • Work together with internal creative services team to build a portfolio of graphic and video content  
  • Assist in copy writing, editing and proofreading copy for email and website 
  • Improve and maintain ongoing dashboards and reports that monitor digital advertising, marketing performance and provide actionable insights to drive ticket sales revenue 
  • Create and distribute surveys to identify what data is necessary to amplify our service delivery and work with team to acquire and utilize

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment 
  • Have a date-centric, revenue-minded approach to improve marketing efforts 
  • A natural curiosity about technology as well as a creative mentality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major coursework in Marketing, Market Research, Business, Communication, or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience with email marketing, digital strategy, database marketing and/or analytics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics and/or HTML coding preferred
