Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

• Support six-person sales team with new business and renewal sponsorship efforts.
• Identifies new prospects based on business insights including: spending data, open/available categories, emerging industries, sports sponsorships (Leagues, networks, teams), local media spends, and other relevant research.
• Prospecting for, outreach, and follow up with all business leads using multiple sources including CRM, LinkedIn, Winmo, Sponsor United, Zoom Info, and others. 
• Work with six-person partnership activation team to create, cultivate, and activate new business opportunities. 
• Develop proposal framework and create presentations for sales team.
• Assist in creation of specific promotion or new inventory/platform in an effort to drive new revenue.
• Handle special projects and strategic sales initiatives as directed by Sales management.
• Follow through on client assignments and monitors client performance as directed by sales.
• Being a conduit to various departments in the organization in an effort to develop sponsorship ideas and to advance sponsorship proposals.
• Become a valued member of sales team with potential responsibility of being assigned sales categories, accounts, and full sponsorship sales responsibilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in sports sponsorship, sports sales or other related sales experience.
• Understanding of brand, traditional media, digital and social media, and marketing concepts.
• Knowledge of the NFL Team, the NFL, and the sports sponsorship industry landscape.
• Demonstrates excellent writing, presentation, and creative skills including Photoshop/InDesign.
• Ability to communicate effectively and to initiate projects. 
• Bachelor’s degree required.
