Job Summary

 Summary of Responsibilities:

• Administration and coaching of the women’s beach volleyball program.
• Assist with the administration and coaching of the women’s indoor volleyball program.
• Manage the beach volleyball operating budget responsibly.
• Enhance the development of the student-athlete’s beach volleyball skills and indoor volleyball skills through team practice and one-on-one instructions.
• Oversee and implement all aspects of the beach volleyball recruiting process.
• Monitor academic progress of the beach volleyball student-athletes.
• Schedule beach volleyball games and practices.
• Plan and organize team travel and game day preparation.
• Responsible for the daily court preparation for beach practices and matches.
• Coordinate annual beach court maintenance with the Director of Athletic Facilities.
• Supervise work study students.
• Promote a favorable image of the College.
• Fundraise for the women's beach volleyball program.
• Coordinate beach volleyball camps.
• Committed to College, Department of Athletics, SAC and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree. Master's preferred.
• One to three years of beach volleyball coaching and recruiting experience.  Indoor coaching experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the game and technical aspects in the sport of beach volleyball and indoor volleyball.
• Experience recruiting prospective student-athletes.
• Current knowledge of the rules and policies of the NCAA.
• A valid NC driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends as necessary.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification will be required within one month of starting.
