Job Summary

Position Overview:  

The Partnership Activation full-year intern for the NFL Team is a multi-faceted position that includes assisting with the fulfillment of sponsorship obligations, various marketing efforts and supporting the Radio Network.  The intern must be organized, independent, and showcase ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.  Flexibility, reliability and creativeness are appreciated.  They must possess excellent time management skills, above average communication skills and leadership qualities that are used in the overall goal of promoting positive relationships with our constituents.  

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Partnership Activation Manager, this position will be responsible for:  Corporate Sales
  • Assist in sales preparations including, but not limited to editing/creating proposals and sales decks using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and/or PowerPoint.
  • Ability to create graphs/charts to help depict research or metrics a plus.
  • Research assistance, including but not limited to researching prospective clients, activation ideas,  and pulling statistics from Scarborough Research Systems to help tell stories 
  • Database management (Microsoft Dynamics) assistance, as requested

Marketing

  • Work with coordinator to manage mascot and cheerleaders appearances
  • Under direction of Coordinator, manage game day entertainment including scheduling, budgeting, logistics, etc. (National Anthem, Honor Guard & Halftime)
  • Fan Club Support (Kids Club & Women’s Club)
  • Help plan and execute events
  • Create copy for monthly newsletters
  • Brainstorm innovative ways to engage members and research membership options pertaining to kit items and renewals 
  • Oversee informational booths when activated


Hospitality/Events

  • Day to day collaboration with the coordinators to plan and execute marketing and sponsor event
  • Provide tours of  Stadium for clients or prospects


Game Day

  • Game week preparation which includes, but not limited to:
  • Assisting with organization of hospitality assets
  • Preparing promotional materials
  • Managing promotions (ex. Captain of the Game winners)
  • Expected to be available for all preseason and regular season home games 
  • Responsibilities will be distributed in the staff meetings prior to game

Miscellaneous

  • Appear as Who Dey (mascot) as needed 
  •  Research and provide recommendations to enhance the game day experience (ex: halftime shows, activations, fan engagements, etc.) 
  • Sponsorship mailings as needed (including tickets for the upcoming season)
  • Mail and Merchandise room organization & supply ordering for department
  • Oversee autographed inventory for donation and client requests 
  •  Take photos for coordinators, sales managers and or sponsors
  • Manual labor including but not limited to moving chairs, tables, etc. for events
  •  This is a 12 month internship commitment. 
  • Starting on or around June 1 and ending on or around May 30. 
  • Intern will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week, including all home games, and will be asked to accommodate a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.  If interested please apply online via TeamWork Online.
