Job Summary

 Responsibilities/Duties

• Provide managerial support to the Operations Department in order to effectively and efficiently coordinate a professional football or basketball affiliated event
• Assume a leadership role in the planning, coordination and execution of facility setup, break down, and clean up associated with various team affiliated events.  This will include Draft Fest, Mini Camp, Training Camp/Fan Fest, a full set-up day prior to each NFL Team home game (including playoffs), and NFL Team and Pelicans home games (including playoffs) among other special events
• Coordinate with various departments for fulfillment needs prior to each home game and event
• Ensure there is proper adherence to the credentialing system for all events, particularly on the field/court level
• Aid in communication with game day staff interns concerning report time and responsibilities
• Supervise game day staff in the setup and break down of all interior and exterior activations for all events
• Assist with various customer service elements as instructed
• Supervise Kids Zone during home games
• Other tasks as assigned

 Skills/Competencies – Desired Candidates should possess: 

• Experience with a sports team, athletic department, and/or event operations (preferred)
• Outstanding organizational, leadership, and time management skills
• Strong Customer service and teamwork skills
• Dedication, strong work ethic, and self-motivation
• Superior communication, responsiveness,  and technological skills 
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds 
• Must be able to provide own housing and transportation
