Job Summary

Manages, plans, and conducts the on-campus recruiting program through official and unofficial visits, including game day. This includes interpretation and application of the NCAA bylaws as they pertain to visits that are permitted for high school athletes, expenses the University is permitted to cover for the time period of when visits occur, and meetings with the coach. Manages a budget of $100-$150K for the program. Manages recruiting activities for the football program for the offense and the defense. Provides recruiting advice to the Head Coach, Assistant Coaches, and Senior Director of Recruiting based on a thorough review and evaluation of potential prospects. Collaborates and strategizes on recruiting activities with the Director of Player Personnel. Oversight of all student-intern office workers and Graduate Assistants in the recruiting office.

NOTE: Position requires incumbent to comply fully with all NCAA, Big Ten (or other conference) and Indiana University rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in intercollegiate athletics.

Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. Ability to work with recruiting databases/software, multi-task, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree. Three years of football recruiting experience.
