Athletic Performance Internship Summer-Fall 2019

Job Summary

Duties include:

• assisting the full-time Athletic Performance coaching staff in all aspects of Athletic Performance program including but not limited to warm-ups, strength and speed training, conditioning, and athlete assessment. 
• Minimum requirements include, a bachelor’s degree or a degree in progress in an exercise science related field, CPR/AED certified, and a strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate strength and conditioning.
• Effective August 1st, 2015, NCAA legislation mandates that only certified personnel can coach athletes unsupervised, therefore, CSCS or CSCCA certification is preferred.
• Upon selection, Athletics will issue and require completion of Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) Mandatory Reporter training. 
• A minimum time commitment of 40 hours per week is required.
• These positions are for VOLUNTEER coaches, compensation will not be provided including parking/transportation costs.
