Job Summary

Job Summary: We are the National Governing Body for the Olympic sport of Synchronized Swimming in the United States. We are looking for a qualified professional to join our team. The Communications & Partnership Marketing Coordinator’s will provide a strategic vision as it relates to communication. The Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of communication in order to increase awareness of our company. With the CEO they will be responsible attracting new sponsors to the organization, enhancing current partnerships and ensure that all sponsorship activations are completed. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Reporting of news for national teams, events, programs and other areas of the organization
  • Driving social media traffic with regular content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other digital media platforms
  • Coordinating all promotional campaigns
  • Serving as the Media Liaison/Press Attaché at our company and National Team events
  • Writing and editing content posted to the website
  • Ensuring the website aligns with promotional and marketing strategy
  • Supporting the marketing of programs, services and events through appropriate media outlets
  • Maintaining consistency of the brand with all print and digital marketing materials
  • Creating, protecting and broadening exposure of the brand
  • Liaisoning with the marketing and compliance department for proper use of Olympic marks
  • Evaluating cutting edge technology
  • Providing ways to actively engage site users and drive/increase traffic to the website to increase tier level of the digital media agreement 
  • Delivering value to our sponsors and partners through regular messaging on communication pieces and proactively seeking new routes to provide value
  • Composing articles and rotating news on all sites frequently with a mix of match reports, lifestyle articles and sponsor driven pieces that positively demonstrate sponsor involvement
  • Exploring potential sponsors, suppliers and licensees to present sponsorship packages that will mutually benefit our company and its partners
  • Fulfilling all contracted sponsor activation and benefits

Qualifications: 

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s degree 
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years demonstrated experience working in communications, public relations, and/or graphic design
  • Expert in Microsoft Office programs
  • Writing and editing ability

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in the sports industry field, have a passion for Olympic sports and sports development
