Assistant, Fan Engagement and Game Presentation

Job Summary

Searching for an enthusiastic, motivated candidate to coordinate operations and logistics for our Event and Gameday Operations department.

This candidate will be responsible for calendar platforms, annual Kickoff Luncheon, Training Camp, and the NFL Team Legends Program.

Gameday responsibilities will include managing pre-game/half time/post-game fan experiences, in-stadium entertainment, part-time event staff, and Plaza activities. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 

• Execute calendar platform plans by coordinating staffing needs and communicating platform goals and expectations for event staff
• Responsible for the pre- event setup, event execution, post-event breakdown for calendar platforms
• Execute all operational aspects of gameday plaza activities including staffing, setup, breakdown, and itineraries
• Assist in-game entertainment including T-Shirt Crew, Halftime, Fan Contests, etc. 
• Coordinate staffing for all events (internal and external) and for gamedays
• Responsible for submitting payroll each pay period for part-time event staff
• Manage all aspects of  program including Annual Weekend,  Homecoming, and booking appearances

Experience and Requirements:
 

• 1-2 years of experience in event operations/planning
• Work all Jets home games and events as required; plus some additional weekends and/or evenings
• Extremely active and respected team player and ability to work well within a team environment
• Assist co-workers by providing various services, such as transportation of materials to/from stadium on a regular basis, and assist other departments as needed. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once with solid attention to detail
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
