Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Ticket Operations provides direction and oversight of the University Athletics Ticket Office. The Director of Ticket Operations is responsible for event accounting, reconciliation and general processing, including renewals, allocations, printing, distribution of tickets, monitoring the computer ticket system (Paciolan) as well as the online system (EVenue) and continuous update of season ticket holder information to ensure the highest level of customer service. The Director of Athletic Ticketing will be responsible for revenue deposits for all sports and maintenance and operation of ticket office equipment. The Director of Ticket Operations will work closely with the Associate Athletics Director/Business Operations, the Associate Athletics Director/Revenue Generation & Fan Engagement, and the Director of Ticket Sales.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES:
- Utilizes the Paciolan ticketing system to complete all aspects of ticket operations
- Responsible for the accurate creation of each sport season within the Paciolan system
- Monitors all daily ticket office activity and functions in person and online
- Responsible for the setup, invoicing and fulfillment of season ticket renewals
- Serves as the Coordinator of the Paciolan ticketing system
- Serves as the Liaison between partners StubHub and Experience
- Works with Marketing and Sales Department to establish ticket philosophies and pricing
- Coordinates with Marketing and Sales to establish group ticketing policies and procedures
- Handles daily balancing and deposit of ticket office funds
- Complies and monitors all policies and regulations set forth by the NCAA, American Athletic Conference and University Athletics Department
- Reports discounted tickets to University Controller for University tickets benefits for employees and retirees
- Hires, supervises and trains Ticket Office work-study students
- Serves as the liaison between the bookstore ticket outlet and the Athletic Department
- Strives to find new and innovative ways to provide support fan experience and engagement
- Regularly communicates the progress, outcomes, and direction of work to the Associate Athletics Director/Business
- Adheres to all NCAA, American Athletic Conference, and The University of Tulsa rules & regulations
- Assists with other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree and two-three years of experience in ticket operations; experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software; knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, strong work ethic and self-starter; excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
