Events Coordinator - Communications & Marketing department

Job Summary

Qualified candidates will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, sport management or a related field 
• Proficient in Google, MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Excel
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail are required 
• Able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
• Preferred: Experience with Fluid Review, Salesforce and Photoshop 

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating a diverse portfolio of events which include project management, on-site logistics, staffing, and all other associated event operations and logistics.
• Tracks all event expenses to vendors and strictly manages adherence to event budget.
• Develops, reviews and creates online event applications via Fluid Review.
• Leads online webinars reviewing event logistics throughout the calendar year.
• Assists in writing event-related content for the website, blog posts and social media based on participant and alumni success stories.
• Serves as a secondary contact for vendors, partners, sponsors and volunteers at the events during set-up and execution of the program.
• Contributes innovative ideas and strategies to improve execution and marketing results of events. 
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.
