Job Summary

Job Summary: The Developer will work with the basketball digital product team to manage the daily operations for our website and other affiliated websites. This position requires technical skills and will be accountable for daily content updates, site/page design, routine maintenance, any site or page expansion or development, and execution of sponsorship and internal marketing campaigns. A successful candidate is committed to quality work while seeking innovative ways to improve our digital presence and experience.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Front-end design and development of digital properties using various CMS, free-coding HTML and CSS, and JavaScript
  • Working with other members of department to post content across all digital platforms
  • Conceptualizing, designing, and code responsive webpages
  • Designing and building microsites, interactive features, and sponsored content
  • Encoding and uploaing multimedia assets for site (audio and video)
  • Working with and creating images and graphics for use on the website
  • Developing and publishing digitally appropriate information
  • Ensuring a consistent look and feel across all digital properties by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images and layout, and creating appropriate templates to assist content authors
  • Assisting with long-term plan for the digital development and presence, including standards and guidelines for content based on business goals and input from stakeholders
  • Staying on top of latest trends in web development, design and use of 3rd party applications to support digital marketing initiatives
  • Managing fan engagement tools on digital platforms
  • Working with the Interactive Services team on site troubleshooting, maintenance and/or enhancements

Qualifications: 

  • Experience in front-end design and development Knowledge, Skills,
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is required to create custom code within the provided environment
  • Experience with responsive design to build a single site for desktop and mobile devices
  • Must possess attention to clean, efficient coding and performance optimization techniques
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.)
  • Proficient in using API’s
  • Must be skilled in use of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with Drupal and Bootstrap
