Job Summary


Responsibilities:

  • Works collaboratively to manage and community weekly calendar of key community-based experiences/events and stories happening across the business and community
  • Assists with the planning and execution of Atlanta United community-based experiences/events, including but not limited to setup, execution and post-event operations
  • Supports various experiences/events that merge the brand’s inspiration and innovation with the inspiration, passion, and innovation found within the community. These community focused experiences will bring a local and authentic dimension to Atlanta United’s marketing mix
  • Plans events, distributes communication, and tracks growth via grassroot approach
  • Builds promotional emails, working in collaboration with ticketing, member services, and marketing to identify relevant storylines and selectively target specific audiences for each communication
  • Builds and maintains a weekly and monthly calendar of community-based emails to ensure deliverables are met
  • Assist with procurement of promotional materials, printed items, and other supplies
  • Manages all promotional inventory, organization and storage thereof
  • Cultivates relationships with vendors, venues, and fans
  • Actively researches and develops new marketing and experience ideas that engage with our fan base
  • Assists with maintaining marketing database, adding new leads and contacts
  • Serves the brand by bringing key seasonal stories to life in the marketplace and connecting with fans through integrated digital and physical community-based experiences 
  • Oversees scheduling and deployment Atlanta United Street Team
  • Assists in the fulfillment of advertising and partnership contracts in relations to event activities
  • Develops presentations to summarize results and key insights from community-based experiences


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Event Marketing, Retail Marketing, Design or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to make presentations in front of senior leaders
  • Have a can-do attitude and an ability to clearly express your ideas and suggestions within the organization
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, moving seamlessly between team activities and tasks - coming up with creative ideas, turning those ideas into fast-moving micro-content, and distributing to digital platforms
  • Working experience with all social media platforms (Twitter, FB, Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Must be fluent with Office programs including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience
  • Must have dependable mode of transportation
  • Must have highly refined abilities in time management, organization, and administration
  • Be a hungry self-starter who is eager to help devise digital content ideas that can be brought to life into physical experiences
