Job Summary
Position Function
Support the head coach with all phases of the women's soccer program.
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience
Successful competing and/or one year of collegiate coaching experience; must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the university's auto fleet policy.
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education
Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Preferred Experience
Two years of collegiate coaching experience.
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a Drivers License check, Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ranking: 1
Perform duties in all areas of the program at the direction of the Athletic Director or sport supervisor. - Ranking: 2
Develop, in conjunction with the Head Coach, planning of practice sessions and competitive coaching situations. - Ranking: 3
Assess and evaluate talent and recruitment of athletes in to the program; includes contact by telephone and mail; off campus evaluations; on campus visits. - Ranking: 4
Develop scouting reports and pre-competition evaluations of opponents. - Ranking: 5
Make recommendations in regard to fund raising, promotion and marketing, special projects, clinics, and camps. - Ranking: 6
Monitor, in conjunction with the Head Coach, the academic progress, the conditioning, and the training of the student-athletes. - Ranking: 7
Show commitment to and responsibility for adherence to all rules and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American Conference, and the NCAA; pass the NCAA certification examination on an annual basis. - Ranking: 8
Perform other related duties as assigned.
