Job Summary


Major Responsibilities: 

  • Operational lead on the Rewards program, including day to day program management and execution.
  • Project lead on Block Party community event program.
  • Project lead the Reading Month program with the intent of expanding the Club’s reach within schools
  • Oversee and manage the Crescent Point Ticket Donation program to help ensure young people, regardless of circumstances, have the opportunity to attend a game
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Community Relations donation inquiries
  • Plan, promote, and execute certain Partnership events throughout Saskatchewan
  • Control donations from the Club to charities/community groups using pre-determined donation guidelines
  • Maintain an inventory of donation items throughout the calendar year
  • Serve as a contact point between Business Office staff and Football Operations when pertinent
  • Maintain/monitor two email accounts: personal, and community.
  • Seek information outside of channels to improve and expand Community Relations offerings
  • Be willing and able to make quick/important decisions on behalf of the Community Relations department when necessary
  • Performs other duties needed  

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities/Experience 

  • completed undergraduate degree
  • 2-3 years of related experience in event management, marketing and/or public relations
  • proficiency in managing multiple priorities, and detail orientation in a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities
  • project management experience
  • proficiency in the use of computer software including spreadsheets, databases, and other online systems and email marketing tools like Mailchimp. 
  • understanding of the sales and marketing process is required as the position will work in an environment that is extremely customer focused.
  • demonstrated professionalism and maturity in responding to staff, sponsors and the public through verbal and written communication channels 
  • independent thinking style that demonstrates a willingness to raise issues with co-workers and project planners to ensure appropriate resolution of customer concerns
  • team oriented style with a “can do” service focus to achieve organizational results
  • availability to work irregular hours and be able to travel occasionally 
  • must have a current, valid driver’s license and access to a highway ready vehicle for assigned travel
