Field Events Sales & Service Manager

Job Summary

Summary/Objective: Change leader to guide the events department and ensure top quality through both the sales and service process. Managing workload, big picture sales strategy and relevant business contacts/relationships. Lead the department to achieve aggressive sales goals, attract more impactful large scale business and define Field’s position in the Regional meeting/convention market.

Job Responsibilities:

• General oversight of the entire events sales effort and guide the direction of the sales team. 
• Manage key relationships with local/regional associations and businesses with a focus on lead generation. 
• Direct Event Sales Managers daily and hold accountable for performance and sales figures.
• Manage Coordinators workloads, cross train and develop bench strength for the organization.
• Ensure service and guest experience is exemplary at every touch point 
• Facilitate productive and collaborative relationships with management

 Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree 
• 5-10 years management experience
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and Lead a team.
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours, within a team environment.
