Assistant Ticket Manager

Job Summary

Position will manage game day ticketing for men’s basketball and women’s basketball, while assisting in game day ticket operations for football and other athletic events as needed.

Will also assist in special event management for development office.Provides administrative support to the Director of Athletics Ticket Sales and to the Associate Athletic Director for Development.

Position assists Director of Athletics Ticket Sales in handling the flow of work through the ticket office, including ticket sales fulfillment, outbound sales calls, off-campus group sales presentations, answering questions about upcoming contests, and processing daily ticket sales deposits. Assists Associate Athletic Director for Development in the flow of work through the development office, including processing donations, answering questions about donation levels and benefits, and processing gift deposits. Performs out duties as assigned. Position is benefited and non-exempt.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or 4-year college degree
2. 2 years of inbound/outbound sales experience
3. Knowledge of basic accounting principles
4. Ability to deliver a first-class customer service focused experience for ticket buyers and Athletics donors

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree
2. Experience working in college/professional athletics ticketing, development or a similar sales related role
3. Knowledge of ticketing and donor management software
4. Experience leading a team of employees or game day staff
