Football Communications Seasonal Assistant

Job Summary

• Provides support to the Football Communications department.

• Coordinate all credential requests for training camp and season-long and per-game requests
• Communicate credential approval/denial to requesting media
• Manage and distribute parking passes for home games
• Assist the football communications staff with all media access periods.
• Assist in executing interview requests for local and national media.
• Assist in the updating and maintaining NFLOMG
• Maintain the daily/weekly schedule
• Update player biographies on a weekly basis
• Assist with the weekly release and publications when necessary
• Assist with media monitoring and tracking
• Transcribe press conferences for Dan Quinn, Matt Ryan, and Julio Jones - upload transcripts and audio to NFLOMG.
• Prepare game day materials, including seating cards and seating charts for the press box and credentials
• Assist with press box setup
• Manage the will-call window for credential pickup
• Assist with press box operations and serve as media concierge in-game
• Manage quote team in press box post-game
• Compile and distribute daily news clips

• Undergraduate degree
• Experience in sports information

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Experience transcribing quotes
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop)
• Experience with content management systems – i.e. WordPress, PrestoSports, SIDEARM Sports, NFLOMG
• Basic HTML knowledge
