Job Summary

Job Description

• This is a full-time, ten month, renewable annual appointment with comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary.
• Reports to the head athletic trainer and is one of a four member staff in cooperation with a supervising team doctor and the Winslow Health Center professional team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a full range of athletic training services to 23 Division III varsity teams, including:

1. Injury prevention
2. Practice and game preparation and support
3. Injury care
4. Treatment and contest management including possible travel

• Assist with all aspects of training room operation including:

1. Insurance claims
2. Planning and management of physical screenings
3. Development of training sessions for student first aid providers
4. Supervision of students and student staff
5. Participation in other departmental assignments.

Qualifications

• NATABOC PA State Licensed and CPR and First Aid certified.
• Commitment to DIII athletic and liberal arts educational philosophy,
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to supervise student staff and respond to student needs
• Commitment to sport and gender equity within a rigorous academic environment.
• Bachelor's degree is required and a Masters is preferred.
