Job Summary
Job Summary
- Lead the Academic Services for Student-Athletes.
- Serve on the Department's senior leadership team.
- Under the general supervision of the Senior Associate Athletic Director.
- In charge of creating, executing, and monitoring academic support programs to serve approximately 350 student-athletes, from 14 sports.
- Must have a demonstrated history of the ability to manage, lead, and collaborate with constituents.
- Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the Athletics Academic Services area and alignment with the organizational goals of the Department.

Conditions of Employment
- Attendance at athletic contests and/or special events may be required some nights or on weekends.
- Involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value, as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16.
- Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion and passing of a background check prior to beginning employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Three years full-time professional experience working in higher education academic services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Sport Administration, or a related field.
- Two or more years of supervisory experience.
- Work experience within intercollegiate athletics.
- Knowledge of FERPA and NCAA rules and regulations governing student-athletes' academic performance
