Assistant Coach - Women's Golf

Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of Division I golf coaching and/or teaching experience.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Played Division I golf is preferred.

Position Description

• Reports directly to the Head Women's Golf Coach.
• Position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the overall coordination and execution of the program.
• Identifying and recruiting qualified student-athletes.
• Practice and game preparation.
• Coaching
• Promoting an atmosphere of compliance within the program.

Job Responsibilities

• Coaching; develop skills of student-athletes, assist in preparing practice plans, implement practice plan.
• Organize, prepare, and conduct individual and team practice sessions.
• Identify, evaluate and recruit prospective student-athletes.
• Analyze scouting reports on all opponents.
• Promote an atmosphere of compliance within the program through strict adherence to  rules and regulations.
• Monitoring of program activities.
• Active involvement and commitment to continuous rules education.
• Timely submission of compliance-related documents.
• Immediate reporting of any knowledge of potential rules violation involving self or others.
