Job Summary

Job Description

  • Executes all operational matters relating to the soccer program, the student athletes and the coaching staff.
  • Serve as liaison to Soccer Alumni and work thoroughly with all other institutional departments.
  • Assist the Head Coach in monitoring the budget for the soccer program.
  • Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Conference, and Title IX.
  • Handle daily operating functions within the program, oversee all within the program.
  • Coordinate, market and administer summer camps.
  • Assist on campus recruiting events.
  • Manage team gear and apparel purchasing orders.
  • Serve as a point of contact for facilities and event management.
  • Fulfill procurement card holder policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for organizing, budgeting, and coordinating team travel, scheduling and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of team travel to include planning, transportation, meals, itineraries and expenses.
  • Assist in the monitoring of the Soccer budget.
  • Oversight of all Soccer Camps.
  • Game schedules and contracts.
  • Manage and organize all Compliance items, except for scholarship allocation.
  • Supervise office workers and team managers.
  • Liaison for alumni relations, donors, event management and other institutional departments.
  • Manage team gear and apparel orders.
  • Fulfill procurement card holder responsibilities.
  • Coordinate team community service activities and projects with student-athletes and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in athletic administration, coaching, or playing experience at the collegiate or professional sports level.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules.
  • Proficient computer/software skills.
  • Detail-orientated with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and to foster teamwork.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations in a positive manner.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects according to the severity and importance.
  • Qualities of emotional maturity, genuineness, self-confidence, common sense and good judgment.
  • Experience in administration within collegiate or professional athletics, is preferred.
  • Experience in event and group planning, is preferred.
