Job Summary

Job Description

• Assists the head coach in the development of a competitively successful women’s team.
• Represents the University positively and responsibly.
• Provides student-athletes the opportunity for a positive experience and climate in which to achieve their academic, athletic and personal goals.

Responsibilities

• Developing instructional plans for individual student-athletes, student-athletes in various sprint freestyle and stroke events, and for the entire team.
• Within these instructional plans, addressing any special needs/issues as identified by the coaching staff.
• Organizes and effectively manages recruiting coordination efforts, as assigned, of prospective student-athletes who have the ability to be academically and athletically successful at University.
• Perform the administrative duties of the women’s recruiting coordinator.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching experience.
• Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to be insured by the University.
• Highly motivated.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of skills knowledge, organizational abilities, and professionalism.
• Coaching experience at the Division I level, is preferred.
