TRACK/CROSS COUNTRY GRADUATE ASSISTANT

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Focus primarily on NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
• Analyze performance and instruct athletes in events and techniques in preparation for and during athletics competition.
• Assists the head coach with scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, home meet management, and fundraising.
• Monitors academic progress of all student-athletes on the team, in connection with the coaching staff, compliance coordinator and athletic director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
• Applicant must obtain acceptance in the University graduate program.
• Have a personal commitment to the University's mission of Christian higher education.
• Coaching experience and/or competitive experience in any event area.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
