Job Summary

• Oversee, monitor and analyze capital and operating budgets, including monthly financial analyses, monthly forecasting, annual planning, 5-year planning, cash forecasting, and ad hoc business analyses. 

• Manage the financial analysis subgroup within Team Finance, including two direct reports.
• Oversees and maintains the operation of the monthly financial and 5-year long range models for the entire organization.
• Prepares monthly reforecasts and financial package.
• Oversee the calculation and analysis of league revenues.
• Provide general analytical support for senior management and ownership meetings.
• Provides support information for all audits across organization.
• Responsible for annual budget process compilation.
• Works with all department leaders on monthly basis to reforecast each month.
• Provides detailed daily and weekly revenue reporting to organization.
• Provide finance support for the quarterly and annual Combined Financial Statements (CFS) process.
• Provide analytical support related to team and league transactions, including franchise sales, capital structuring, and lease negotiations .
• Provide other sophisticated analytical and strategic support relating to significant League and Team initiatives.

• Bachelor’s Degree with major coursework in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Advanced Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills such as Lookups, Sumifs, and Pivot Tables.
• VBA & Macros a plus.
• Experience with F9 Financial Reporting, Dynamics SL, or Archtics Ticketing preferred.
• Practical knowledge with creating financial statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
• Excellent accounting software skills both as a user and an administrator.
• Strong professional ethics and sensitivity in dealing with confidential information.
• Strong attention to detail is required.

• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form
• May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
