Job Summary

The Chicago Bears are looking for a Seasonal Content Producer (temporary) to shoot, edit, encode and post video on the team‘s digital and social channels. Candidate will collaborate closely with the Content team to produce high-quality video including game highlights, weekly features, live and on-demand press conferences, locker room interviews, and seasonal features. This position operates entirely behind the camera. The duration of this position is late June through the end of January. Must include in your cover letter links to two finished video-based portfolio pieces (features, highlights, shooting reel, promo, etc.). Responsibilities: Assist with shooting, logging, and editing video content. Assist with posting content according to weekly content schedule. Edit and post two weekly radio shows to ChicagoBears.com. Assist with creating pre-roll spots requested by internal departments. Assist with other content-based video/photo projects as needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience. Previous experience shooting football. 1+ year non-linear editing experience. Strong knowledge of the following: Adobe CC Production Premium Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro and Photoshop Canon, Sony or camera workflow Possess excellent, professional communication skills, including written and oral correspondence. Strong attention to detail, highly collaborative and creative. Must be dependable, willing to take initiative and adapt to a variety of situations. Ability to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings including weekends and holidays (Sundays or other gamedays are required during the season). Able and willing to travel to Training Camp, Homes games, NFL Combine, and other local destinations to cover player news. Knowledge of live streaming protocols are a plus. Previous experience posting content to a website using a content management system is strongly desired. This list of position functions is not all-inclusive and may be supplemented or modified.
