Ticketing/ Game Support Assistant

Job Summary

Job Description

• Assist with the overall game day support for various sports and specifically provide support to the Ticket Operations Director.
• Plan, organize, administer and implement ticketing operations for assigned sport team.
• Act as liaison with coaches, director of operations, student-athletes, event management, facilities, and marketing for each sport.
• Assist in training and supervision of students.
• Create content for ticketing marketing purposes.
• Follow the athletic philosophy consistent with that of the Athletic Department and NCAA, and a commitment to diversity in all of its forms.
• Work schedule will be arranged with supervisor, but often includes evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Qualifications

• Prior experience in game operations and ticket sales, preferably in intercollegiate athletics.
• Proficiency in the use of basic computer programs relevant to job duties, including Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite programs and ticketing system software.
• Understanding and at least general experience in an intercollegiate athletic setting.
• Awareness of culture, demands and basic policy.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability.
• Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to engage with constituents, on and off campus and with individuals of all ages and of varying backgrounds.
• Ability to be punctual, and to act responsibly in all aspects of position.
