Merchandise Coordinator

Job Summary

• Organize Club merchandise operations.
• Includes leading the overall merchandise planning and direction for Athletic soccer matches and events.
• Help to ensure an effective, high quality operational experience for gamedays and will assist with stadium fan experience initiatives.
• Merchandise Coordinator will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

• Serve as Club’s primary point-of-contact regarding Club merchandise .
• Lead the planning and organization for merchandise operations for soccer matches and events.
• Lead the planning and organization for fulfillment via Club online merchandise sales.
• Assist with the development and execution of a Club retail location located downtown.
• In collaboration with the operations department, ensure that the strategic vision for the Club’s stadium and gameday experience is defined, developed, and executed.
• Ensure fan experience is a primary focus and stay ahead of trends in order to achieve continuous improvement.
• Organize, manage and transport merchandise equipment for home matches and special events.
• Represent the Club and its respective partners/sponsors with pride and passion.

• Demonstrated knowledge of merchandise operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage time effectively, with the ability to perform well with strict deadlines.
• Be comfortable multi-tasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform strenuous physical duties, including carrying heavy boxes and equipment.
• Maintain an effective working relationship with coworkers, fans, vendors and sponsors.
• Follow all policies, procedures and safety precautions established by the Club.
• Access to a car, a clean driving record, proof of auto insurance and a valid driver’s license.
