Job Summary

Position Summary

• Responsible for developing and sustaining a strong and competitive Division I Swimming and Diving program.
• Recruit qualified cadet-athletes to the Academy, whose athletic and personal skills make them highly competitive in the Conference and on the national level, whose academic and physical abilities give them the potential to be successful in the rigorous academic and military programs.
• Aspects of the team and ensure that the program is operated in compliance with NCAA, Conference, and Academy rules.
• Develop a culture of excellence poised to fulfill the missions of University and the Athletic Department.
• Perform the administrative duties associated with being a head coach including:

1. Developing and administering the sport's budget.
2. Preparing data and reports, as necessary.
3. Assisting in revenue generation and fundraising activities.
4. Assisting with and advocating for full compliance with NCAA, Conference, and Academy rules for all constituents.

• Reasonably available to, and work professionally with, the media as well as cooperate with the Academy and Department staff members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience coaching Swimming and Diving at the collegiate level.
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and meet travel requirements.
• Possess excellent verbal and written skills.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
