Women's Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Job Description

• Full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits.
• Works under general direction of the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach.
• Assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Women’s Lacrosse program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and College policies and regulations.
• Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach will work in conjunction of the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities:

1. Coaching student athletes
2. Scouting opponents
3. Recruiting.

• Primarily responsible for the organization, maintenance, and implementation of the offensive and defensive game plan and installation.
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration.
• Expected that the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach embrace the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within the college's unique campus culture. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Demonstrated experience instructing on the rules and fundamentals of the sport.
• Collegiate lacrosse playing and coaching experience.
• Experience in recruitment of academically focused-student athletes is preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED Certification is required (and can be completed after hire).
