Job Summary
Job Overview
- Responsible for the administration of the collegiate women's swimming program in a way that reflects the athletics' department program goals.
- Responsible for creating an environment that is supportive of individual differences and maximizes the educational and athletic development of the student athletes.
Requirements
- Must have proficient knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years of collegiate women's swimming coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA or Junior College level as a head or assistant coach is required.
- Demonstrated successful women's swimming fundraising and summer camps coordination is required.
- Extensive collegiate women's swimming recruiting experience is required.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is preferred.
- Must have the ability to pass the NCAA Coaching Examination each year.
- Must have a valid driver license and have the ability to drive and travel for practices, competitions and recruiting of student-athletes.
- Must pass all background clearances including fingerprinting to be hired.
- Must maintain an exemplary standard of conduct, which reflects the highest level of professionalism and good judgement on and off the fields of play.
