Northeast Area Scout

Job Summary

• Currently an undergraduate, graduate student or post grad, preferably at in an area within reasonable distance of schools with baseball programs.
• Strong desire to work in baseball operations, player development, or similar areas

Responsibilities

• You will be required to complete roughly 100 scouting reports (3 a week) over the course of the college baseball season and attend 3 games a week.
• You will be receiving training in the fall months and during the spring, will have meetings with your regional supervisors to discuss your work.
• Throughout the year, you will be in constant communication with your fellow scouts and supervisors through GROUPME and email.
• You will be expected to attend most if not all of your school’s home baseball games.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, as interaction remotely through GroupMe, Google Drive, and mobile phone will be a vital part of the developmental process, regardless of position.
