Job Summary

Job Summary:

Serves as Director of Operations of video production for home events for the Department of Athletics in assigned sports. Produces and directs live streams, creates content for video boards. Produces marketing and social media content.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Point of contact for video, ESPN, Capturion, and Daktronics-video boards.

2.Producer for home ESPN productions.

3.Provide a feed for home games of assigned sports.

4.Produces content for athletic video boards.

5.Provides media, Conference USA officials, and the NFL with requested footage.

6.Provides Conference USA officials with instant replay camera feeds.

7.Capture and archive video footage for varsity sports home matches.

8.Creates and edits postgame highlights and sends highlight packages to media outlets

9.Produce, film and edit videos for the purpose of promoting University of teams, student-athletes, coaches and the athletic department throughout the year

10. This position is responsible for creating, designing, and delivering a wide variety of dynamic visual, video, public relations materials and social media content

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA): Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities required of this position include, but not limited to, Video Coordinator, one graduate assistant and student workers.
