Job Summary


True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our team.

The Video Content Coordinator, Manitoba Moose will assist in the creation of fresh and current video supporting the Manitoba Moose brand.

What to be excited for in this role:

  • Collaborate on the creation and execution of video content, ensuring it is meeting the needs of all stakeholders and maximizing fan engagement.  

  • Create game highlight packs for all Manitoba Moose home and away games. 

  • Be present for all Manitoba Moose home games and live stream road games. 

  • Execute video shoots to support Manitoba Moose hockey at practices, home games, and in the community including interviews, player profiles, and special events.

  • Contribute to the execution of the Manitoba Moose social media strategy.

  • Tell the Manitoba Moose story with interesting and compelling video content for internal and external platforms. 

  • Work in a creative team environment allowing for collaboration and innovation. 

  • This position has the potential to be the on-air talent for pre-game and post-game reports and other Manitoba Moose initiatives. Please include on-camera work in a demo reel if this is an area of interest. 



What we need from you:

  • A combination of experience and educational background with an emphasis in shooting and editing video. 

  • A strong working knowledge of cameras, lighting and relevant video equipment.

  • Extensive working knowledge of Adobe Creative with an emphasis on Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.

  • Ability to perform tasks during stressful fast-paced public situations while maintaining composure. Ability to be “on” even after busy days. 

  • Knowledge of social media best practices will be considered an asset. 

  • Responsible team member with capacity to meet objectives and required timelines.

  • Ability to work with the utmost of discretion and confidentiality with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Good knowledge of hockey.

  • Pleasant character and professional appearance.

  • Willingness to work a variety of  hours that include days, evenings, and weekends. 

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation to be able to travel between home facility and the practice facility when needed.
