Job Summary

Description:
The Vice President of Corporate Partnership will be responsible for prospecting and selling sponsorships, along with managing the entire corporate partnerships department for a team in the Northeast Region of the United States for the Arena Football League. This candidate will be responsible for achieving specific budgetary goals each year and will interact with various departments within the organization to ensure that contractual obligations are fulfilled, and business objectives are met for all clients.

 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high volume of dynamic cold calls

  • Generate new business leads via prospecting and research

  • Conduct exceptional client needs based analysis and develop custom programs to meet each client’s objectives

  • Generate revenue through the sale of new partnerships 

  • Create and present prospective sponsorship proposals for clients

  • Prepare sponsor related reports

  • Maintain an active pipeline of new prospects and opportunities

  • Foster existing corporate partner relationships to ensure retention and growth

  • Network and attend appropriate business functions

  • Build positive long-term relationships with key decision makers

  • Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to a fast-paced working environment with a strong attention to detail

  • Provide accurate and reliable reporting information to be used in forecasting and management updates

  • Being present, punctual and engaged during all scheduled departmental meetings

  • Assist with departmental game-day activities, specifically related to client entertainment

  • Oversee the fulfillment process

  • Manage junior level salespeople and client services

  • Additional duties as assigned by the team COO

 
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required 

  • Minimum of three years of corporate sales experience required

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to succeed 

  • Proven time management, attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated customer service experience

  • Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Flexible work schedule and ability work nights and weekend
