Assistant Coach, Men's Golf

Job Summary

Description:

• Assist in practice set-up and break-down, transportation to and from practice when necessary, and equipment maintenance and inventory control
• Possess the ability to recruit at a high academic and athletic level those prospective student-athletes that meet the admissions requirements for the university
• Work closely with compliance, academics, finance, sports information and other departmental entities
• Will serve as liaison with other inter-department areas such as compliance, academics, finance, business office and sports information
• Interact with the community, campus, and other departmental staff to fulfill all community service and other departmental requirements
• Will perform additional as assigned by the Head Coach or Senior Associate AD

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and two years actively participating on an intercollegiate golf team, coached collegiate golf for two years.
• Certified with the NCAA to recruit.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

• Knowledge of NCAA & university rules, polices and regulations
• Coaching experience in a college setting
• NCAA certification will be required post employment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
